OT: CCDE - how to study and chances to pass it

Hi Group,

Since there is almost no vendor support for CCIE SP, I'm looking for
alternatives. CCDE seems to be a good one but since there are so few people
which have passed it, I'm not sure how "doable" the CCDE is.

Not many vendors offer products for CCDE and I'm kind of unsure which is
"the right way" towards the CCDE. I know, lots of practice and lots of
reading but I would be interested to hear from all the people which are
already CCDE or have attended the exam, how they have prepared!
