Right, this is why our new topology includes IOS XR. XR's implementation of the technologies will be extensively covered in INE's CCIE SPv3 Advanced Technologies Class, and we will also be offering a separate IOS XR Fundamentals class for people who want to learn how XR works, but aren't necessarily working on CCIE SP.

I'm not sure about here, but on INE's forum and privately via email I've talked to people that have passed SPv3 using INE's existing workbooks and videos, along with the IOS XR book from Cisco Press.

Brian,
I would agree that many things are simply a difference of syntax.
I disagree with the assessment that the only difference is syntax. Many of
the verification commands are different to see how things are working. It
can be struggle sometimes. People need to see it on actual XR. You don't
want to be figuring out show commands while you are troubleshooting problems
due to misconfiguration. Things that never happen during the lab
experience...right?.
Has anyone on this forum even given the 3.0 a try yet? Or passed it for that
matter?
I'm just curious.
