Re: OT: CCDE - how to study and chances to pass it

Ronnie,

Interesting infos! Why would they remove IPv6 from the CCDE? I mean,
nowadays this is a major topic in network design and in all the other
Certs it gets added.

I'm somehow at the same point like you (even though I have not attended
the CCDE exam). I'm not sure if it is worth to start for the CCDE because
up to now, I don't see a high demand for it and somehow I do also not feel
that Cisco is pushing the exam and want to see more CCDE's (the same
applies for the CCIE SPv3 and the Architect).
I don't know why Cisco brought so many Cert changes but after that, does
not really show interest in people getting them (at least I don't feel it).
Even though studying for a Cert is very cool, interesting, fun, exciting,
frustrating
.at the end it has to pay off and this not only in terms of
knowledge :-)

regards
