I have been receiving a number of the same questions concerning the program
I would like to clarify:
Why the interview?
-------------------
It allows us to get to know you and you to know us. We will be working
together for two months and want to make sure there is synergy within the
group. We are looking for a small number of highly dedicated people who are
interested in passing the CCIE and willing to work hard to do so. In all
honestly, GroupStudy members are given preferential treatment so please
identify yourself as such.
Students who are not yet ready for CCIE level training will be encouraged to
take a more appropriate class. I have had a few people who really were not
at the correct level. I worked with each person individually to pick out a
few preliminary training courses from another provider (in both cases it was
Global Knowledge) and hope to see them in our CCIE program in the future.
Do I need to take off of work for all six weeks?
------------------------------------------------
No, the course is designed for working professionals. You will only need to
take two of the six weeks off from work. But please understand you will be
working in the evenings during the online portion of the program. Please
expect to work from about 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM each night during the online
sessions. Some of that time will be homework that can be done anytime.
What happened if I do not take the CCIE within three months?
------------------------------------------------------------
We encourage all attendees to have a goal of passing the CCIE by the end of
August. You will be prepared to pass the exam, so why wait? If in the
unlikely event you do not pass, we will pay for a second attempt so you
really have nothing to lose. This program is designed for serious students
who want to pass the CCIE and are willing to work hard to accomplish the
task.
If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me or go to

Take care,

Subject: GroupStudy accelerated CCIE study group
We are forming a new GroupStudy CCIE R&S accelerated study program that will
take a student step by step through everything necessary to pass the CCIE
R&S. The entire program will require about two months to complete, but at
the end you will be well prepared to pass the CCIE.
In fact, we are so confident of the program that if you attend the program
and do not pass the CCIE R&S on the first attempt, we will pay for your
second attempt!
The program consists of six weeks of total formal training. Four of the
weeks are online evening courses (so you can work during the day) and the
remaining two weeks are live instructor lead bootcamp training in the
Atlanta area. So you will only need to be out of work two of the six weeks
(plus one day to take the lab).
The schedule will work as follows:
Week 1: May 7-11
Online live instruction (starting at 8:00 PM EST)
Week 2: May 14-18
Online live instruction (Starting at 8:00 PM EST)
Week 3: May 21- 25
Live instructor lead course in Atlanta
(8:30 AM ~ 8:30 PM or later)
Week 4: OFF
-take a break and relax over Memorial Day week
Week 5: June 4-8
Online live instruction (starting 8:00 PM EST)
Week 6: June 11-15
Online live instruction (starting 8:00 PM EST)
Week 7: June 18-22
Live instructor lead course in Atlanta
(8:30 AM ~ 8:30 PM or later)
Week 8: self-study with access to the instructor for questions
Week 9: Pass the CCIE sometime in early July!
To maintain maximum personal contact with each student, we are limiting the
program to six students.
If you are interested, please send me a private message for more details.
