Brian (Dennis),

You know - as well as I do - that this is totally misleading. If that's what you guys
have to do to compete (or try to) - more power to you. I can GUARANTEE that the
IE's that you "count" as internetwork exprt certified also use other materials
while preparing. I can also GUARANTEE that your competition (including us)
are missing several successful IE's - that are not listed on their sites. You're very
naive to think that you have jumped into the CCIE training space and instantly
have taken over the market. In fact, our numbers depict a much different trend.

I don't question that you have a good product or service - in fact, many people
know that you taught for me before I replaced you with Scott Morris. While you
were working for me - you did a great job, and I'm sure you still do. Your partner
is also a very good - actually - an excellent instructor. However, let's get real here -
and admit - plain and simply - that "we really don't know". You really don't know
how many IE's IP expert, N L I or N M C have produced since you have been in
business. You have NO IDEA how many of your success stories have used other
products. You can't accurately portray to be the best in the market without any
factual evidence - that your success stories are trained by you - and only you -
(and either can we (IP expert), N M C or N L I). To be quite honest, as we've seen and
heard countless times - most students / clients - purchase several products (from
different vendors), and to be quite honest - it's probably the best strategy. Not
everyone likes your product, our product or the other products that we all know
about.

It's time we (vendors) stop this nonsense of using Groupstudy as a marketing and
sales tool. Paul has heard me complain about the vendors who reply to newly
certified IE's with a "congrats" - just to get their 6 line signature shown on this list.
(I'm not saying that you, Brian, do this - in fact, you - Brian McGahan and Scott
Morris probably contribute to this list more than anyone else on it). But in all reality
- the game of "whose product will get a plug today" on Groupstudy is getting very,
very old....To sum it up - don't try to pull a fast one on the list members unless you
have solid - factual information and statistics. Even then, if you use them - you're
still using the list to market - and that's not what it's here for. If we're all going to
hammer John for his countless comments about his class and why people should
attend - we should all abide by the same rules and policies.
