clear ip ospf redistribution and clear ip ospf process

Hi all,

the command reference provides no useful information about those 2 commands.
  For example, regarding "clear ip ospf process", all it says it that it
"resets the ospf process". But, it doesn't say what that means and why I
would want to do that.

Can somebody show me any scenarios or examples of when it would be necessary
to use those commands?
