thanks for getting back to me but could you give me any examples of the
types of ospf config changes you're talking about?

If I add a network statement under the ospf process, should I clear it?

If I change a route-map affecting redist into ospf, should I clear ip ospf
redist?

If I change an area to a stub area or NSSA, should I clear the ospf process?

What about if I change the spf interval, or the Hello interval, or the dead
time interval?

I'm not trying to be "picky", but both the command reference and the
Parkhurst book are very vague about this. the only example in the parkhurst
book has to do with ospf counters - not very helpful if you ask me.

Compared to BGP, the publish info isn't very specific.

Thanks
