You should use "clear ip opsf proc" when you make changes to the ospf
configuration in order to make the changes take effect. Otherwise, you
will make the change and then sit there wondering why it didn't work.

Subject: clear ip ospf redistribution and clear ip ospf process
Hi all,
the command reference provides no useful information about those 2
commands.
For example, regarding "clear ip ospf process", all it says it that it
"resets the ospf process". But, it doesn't say what that means and why
I
would want to do that.
Can somebody show me any scenarios or examples of when it would be
necessary
to use those commands?
Thanks very much.
