Hi all,
When using ppp encapsulation on both sides of the DDR link, it says that I
should only need a dialer map ip x.x.x.x broadcast <string> on one side of
the link and the other side doesn't need a string or dialer map statement.
However, when testing, I was unable to make the call.
At the other end, the show dialer map command doesn't reveal any mapping.
When I add the static dialer map, the call is completed and works. Question
is, why doesn't any dynamic mapping take place. Isn't this necessary for
scenarios not wanting one end of a link to initiate the call?
