BGP dampening parameters

Hi All,

  Whenever I set the bgp dampening parameters under the bgp process, I could
see the parameters set by issuing the "show ip bgp dampening parameters"
command , but when I set the bgp dampening parameters based on a route-map,I
get this message "% dampening reconfiguration in progress for IPv4 Unicast"
when issued the "show ip bgp dampening parameters".Is that a expected o/p
.Kindly let me know your inputs.
