Hi,
When using the attribute weight on BGP, what is the difference and when it should be used either on a route-map or directly with the neighbor, example:
router bgp 100
no synchronization
bgp router-id 150.6.6.6
bgp log-neighbor-changes
neighbor 54.6.3.254 remote-as 54
neighbor 54.6.3.254 weight 100
Versus
router bgp 100
no synchronization
bgp router-id 150.6.6.6
bgp log-neighbor-changes
neighbor 54.6.3.254 remote-as 54
neighbor 54.6.3.254 route-map SET-WEIGHT in
Route-map SET-WEIGHT permit 10
- set weight 100
Thanks
