ATM PVC config.

Hi all,

Sorry if this is basic, but I don't have access to ATM
equipment and would like some thoughts on this issue.

With LANE out of the lab, it seems as the only two
options left on the exam for ATM config are PVCs and
classical IP. I can config. classical IP with no
problem. My questions are with PVCs.

If you are doing PVCs should you configure 0 16 and 0
5 pvcs in addition to the PVC for passing data or
leave them out. I know these are mainly/basically for
SVCs.

If you do not want to rely on atm inverse arp then you
need a map - same as with frame rely. Can someone
show me an example of a basic atm map. The reason I
ask this is I can't find one in print, don't have
practice equipment. Another side to this same
question is if you are configuring only 1 PVC, then do
you have to use a map class for is there an
easier/more basic way to do this.

thanks,
michael
