Hi All,
I think I must be missing something really simple. I wanted to try and
setup dialer-profiles for
IP and use ospf demand-circuit. But how do I map the ip address to the
dialer. For example -
under regular legacy ddr:
dialer map ip 170.100.68.2 name sleepy broadcast 1001
Here is my dialer profile setup. When I do a debug ip packet for a ping to
170.100.68.2 I get encapsulation
failed.
interface BRI0
no ip address
encapsulation ppp
dialer pool-member 1
!
interface Dialer0
ip address 170.100.68.2 255.255.255.240
encapsulation ppp
ip ospf demand-circuit
dialer remote-name grumpyip
dialer string 1001
dialer pool 1
dialer-group 1
ppp authentication chap
ppp chap hostname sleepyip
!
router ospf 1
network 170.100.65.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
network 170.100.67.0 0.0.0.255 area 3
network 170.100.68.0 0.0.0.255 area 0
network 170.100.69.0 0.0.0.255 area 2
area 0 range 170.100.65.0 255.255.255.0
area 2 virtual-link 170.100.66.1
dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit
Thanks in advance,
Julie Ann
