Console problem

Chidi,

I've done this before not sure how it happened but this is how I got
around it.

1. Break into the 2509 in the first 60 seconds
2. o/r 0x42
3. i
4. start your entire config from the beginning loopback address
5. mapping of the loopback address to your routers
6. When you hit the enter key do you see the Async LED flash?
7. What do you see when you issue sh line 1,2,3 etc?
8. Make sure line 1 8 has the command transport input telnet

I doubt that your router is dead, is the LED next to serial 0 on solid?
Try the above steps save your config to overwrite your previous NVRAM
settings and let us know how it went.
