Cisco 6500 vs Nexus

We were talking internally as why someone will replace a Cisco 6500 switch
with a Nexus?
I don't see a compelling reason if someone in the group who has seen any
advantages of moving to Nexus.
Cisco 6500 platform has been around for a decade now and have all the feature
set which is available for a Data Center(if this is the rationale behind Cisco
making their customer buy the expensive Nexus switches).
