Nexus has twice the density of 10Gb and 1Gb ports. (Nexus 7k)
The original fabric modules support 230Gbps per slot, 6500 only supports 40Gbps (Sup720) and 80Gbps (Sup2T). Newer FABs will be more I expect.
ISSU on the 7k generally means zero downtime software updates.
Nexus support FEX.
Just to name a few features.
But really.....they dont play the same role in the DC anyway.
6500 are more services layer switches which the Nexus serve the role as a Data Centre aggregation switch.
