The question is, where is this 6500 sitting today for you and what functional role is it playing? Even within the Nexus class you have different models that are shaping up different landscapes.
Look at ACI and EPN the DataCenter is and will continue to be an evolving platform and the 6500 is not it! Even with the Sup2T the Cat 6K may it fit your needs.
