Okay, pretty stumped here.
R3#show ip eigrp topology 150.1.7.0 255.255.255.0
IP-EIGRP (AS 100): Topology entry for 150.1.7.0/24
State is Passive, Query origin flag is 1, 1 Successor(s), FD is 128256
Routing Descriptor Blocks:
155.1.37.7 (FastEthernet0/0), from 155.1.37.7, Send flag is 0x0
Composite metric is (128256/128000), Route is Internal
Vector metric:
Minimum bandwidth is 100000 Kbit
Total delay is 5010 microseconds
Reliability is 255/255
Load is 1/255
Minimum MTU is 1500
Hop count is 1
155.1.0.5 (Serial1/0.1), from 155.1.0.5, Send flag is 0x0
Composite metric is (1152512/640512), Route is Internal
Vector metric:
Minimum bandwidth is 128 Kbit
Total delay is 45020 microseconds
Reliability is 255/255
Load is 1/255
I thought that 'show ip eigrp topo x.x.x.x/x' showed successors and
feasible successors only. But the second entry above shows an AD of
640512, which is larger than the FD of 128256. Is this considered a
Feasible Successor or not? If not, what's it doing in this command
output?
Thanks as always!
