Frame-Relay relevant to LAB

I was just thinking, A lot of emphasis is given to Frame-relay
configurations for IGPs with a whole lot of different scenarios taught and
tested. Now, how relevant is Frame-Relay in today's world. Its almost non
existent in this part of the world (Middle East). Is it still predominant
in Europe ? Americas ? I know it still forms a major underlying network in
Africa.

So just just thinking aloud, shouldn't it be something which should be
phased out of the R&S exam already. Isn't it too irrelevant for the
majority of the candidates ? Or is it ?
