Re: Frame-Relay relevant to LAB

With the ability in todays ISP networks to bring the Metro Ethernet to your
house, most handoffs are now Ethernet via Fiber, Copper, and at 10mb -to-
10gb. The CAS Serial and Pri handoffs are still there, but we mostly want
to get rid of those as well and move everyone to ethernet via SIP over MPLS
or SIP over Internet.

BTW, are we talking about some other L2 encap like HDLC or PPP on top of
that or even some other alpha encaps to replace the so called "Legacy"
technology ?
