Cisco doesn't seem to be concerned if you know the physical topology of
the real lab. In fact if you attend the CCIE sessions at Cisco Live
they even talk about how they aren't concerned with people knowing the
physical topology. In Las Vegas at Cisco Live last year I heard first
hand that they are not concerned with vendors using the real physical
topology and even talked about publishing the physical topology. On an
unrelated note we have 25 new R&S racks being put up now ;-)
Lastly in regards to posts on here relating to IOU and IOU XR, I've
heard "talk" that Cisco will be making it available to partners soon
similar to Junosphere Labs and Junosphere Classroom
(http://goo.gl/2qzuh) and to the general public a few months after
that. This means all of the people waiting for IOS XR access for SPv3
might find an affordable solution real soon. Juniper's solution is only
$5 per device for 24 hour access which is affordable. So hold off
before running out and buying that GSR for your home lab ;-)
