xmodem or interface config command in very old rommon

Dear experts,

Does anybody has an idea,

  - What is the xmodem file transfer command in very old rommon?

Or,

  - How to configure IP address of Ethernet interface in very old rommon?

Now I have a classic 2509-RJ with IOS 11.2(16), but it doesn't recognize its interface properly.
I guess the IOS image c2500-c-l_112-16 doesn't match the hardware.
So I want to try IOS upgrade to c2500-is-l.112-18.bin.
