I guess the real question is to ask yourself what happens to packets when
they use the "ip helper-address" or "ip forward-protocol" or even "ip
directed-brodcast" command(s).

I mean what is really going to happen here is critical to understanding how
the packet (I think you mentioned UDP and Broadcast in the same phrase) is
going to be treated as it traverses the network.

And another thing is how are you going to verify that this is actually
happening once you understand what is supposed to happen? That kind of
important too. Agree?

So do you really need an access-list ot forward snmp as udp traffic if you
are using one of the above-mentioned methods?
