May 5th was the date of the announcement from Cisco for the lab changes.

Additionally as some have mentioned in this thread and other threads about
the CCNP course we will be offering I'm not actually writing a CCNP
course. I'm just teaching a few of the topics as Brian McGahan is the
primary instructor and developer of the material.

before forming an my final opinion. However so far I think the quoted price
for the WB volume 4 is reasonable, especially taking into consideration the
price I have paid for the End-to-End program and the degree of change of the
blueprint.

Just one question though, what is the significance of May 5th? Why was this
date chosen to determine who receives a free update?
