Hello all!
I wanted to ask if the distance command under the eigrp process works
like it does for rip.
example:
I am receiving routes from router with IP 10.10.2.2 (eigrp router-id
2.2.2.2) and I want to change the admin distance of routes: 12.12.1.1
12.12.2.2 and 12.12.3.3
eigrp 5
distance 91 10.10.2.2 0.0.0.0 1
!
access-list 1 permit 12.12.1.0 0.0.0.255
access-list 1 permit 12.12.2.0 0.0.0.255
access-list 1 permit 12.12.3.0 0.0.0.255
will the above config change the admin distance for the respective
routes? Do i have to use the router-id instead of the router ip
address? I have tried the above but the distance does not change. I
also tried it with
distance 91 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 1
but still nothing.
Any thoughts? anyone...anyone....Bueller.....
Thanks.
