1: What username should I use to authenticate if I have not configured any

authenticated but says "page can not be displayed". is there anything in
configuration that I am missing on ASA to get cisco ASDM page?
Yes the IE/firefox browser needs java installed and you have to trust the
page. Check your pop-up blocker. You can allow pop-ups for the asa address
url, or you can add it to trusted sites, etc.
3: On the similar line when i use SSH to connect to ASA is the default
username is "pix" ?
no. it uses the username you entered at the cli and that username's
password. Then you will have to enable with the enable pass.
