RE: magic numbers

Hi Cindy,

I'm certainly no expert on this, but one thing to consider is that not all
test centers are up and running each and every day. From what I gathered in
a recent "Ask the Experts" on NetPro, it seems that some test centers
actively test on only a subset of days. Thus, it's possible that perhaps 20
or 25 numbers may go out the door on certain days of the week when some of
the part-time test centers have their doors open, but then not so many on
other days.

That's pretty much a guess, so take it for what it's worth. Also, in that
same Ask the Experts, it was eluded to that some of these part-time test
centers may go full time starting in 2008, and that new ones may open.
Thus, the number of numbers could grow measurably starting in the coming
year...

Regards,

Scott

Experts,
As I study and watch the messages go by, I have noticed that numbers 19499
and 19519 seem to have occurred on the same day. Is Cisco turning out 20
CCIEs per day? I assumed Cisco assigned numbers sequentially - maybe this
is not the case? Anybody know?
