I may not be your target audience for the question, but it strikes me as a
little odd...

Your first question about support from vendors whose workbooks are being
used, you should find that vendors support them to varying degrees.

Your second question though is a little odd. Looking around on forums such
as this one that you posted the question to... You'll find myself from
IPexpert, as well as the Brians from IE, Bob Sinclair (and occasionally
Bruce Caslow) from NMC, as well as other idependents or other vendors
represented like from Narbik, Tarun and Roman. This board isn't tied to
anyone's workbook, so from that standpoint, support is given to people
regardless of a purchase.

BUT. I would presume that nobody would give support to someone using a
workbook which they have not paid for! So there are differences in that
idea of looking at things. So your phrase of "regardless of if they bought
the work books" is a little disturbing.

While I can't speak for everyone, I can say that I answer e-mails and help
people out whether they have purchased my bootcamp or not. And those who
have, the support does not end after the 5-days is up.

But at the same time, there are always limits! No matter how nicely you
ask, I will not go take the test for you. ;)

What are you looking for by your question? I think you'll find similar
answers regarding most of the people on this board. That's the purpose of
the board.

Subject: Your Opinion

Hi,

This is rather of topic but I was wondering what sort of response test
takers have had when they requested some support from to vendors whose Work
books they are using. Are creators of the lab scenarios forth coming with
answers to reasonable questions.

Are they willing to assist people regardless of if they bought the work
books or do they respond better to people who attend their
bootcamps/classes?

They are not charity organizations & running a business so clearly
expectations will vary depending on how they operate. I'm just wondering
whether they place a limit on the extent of assistance they are willing to
offer.

Thanks
