payment taken 28 days before lab

Hi

I'm just wondering if anyone has had issues with the actual payment date
of the CCIE lab. I've tried to pay for the lab but according to the
payment policy they wont actually try and take payment until 28 days
before the lab. I've got a history of having to phone my bank due to
payments not being authorised (something to do with no matching usual
spending patterns).

I assume if I have a problem with my card on the day, I wont loose my
date?

Does anyone know how it works or what I can do to ensure I don't have
any problems?
