Hi GS

Can anyone explain why I have to use a 32 bit subnet in order to
advertise a network into BGP for example
Int lo23
Ip add 44.44.44.44 255.255.255.255

Router bgp 10
Network 44.44.44.44 mask 255.255.255.255
Exit

This is the only way I can get a network to show up in sho ip bgp, if I
try address 44.44.44.44 255.255.255.0 it does not work. Is this
normal bgp behavior or am I missing something?

Thanks for your input
