If Cisco 1760-V can do the job, why are most vendor suggest Cisco 2811
instead? Any potential issue with 1760V?

It seems to me, Catalyst 6608 has already EOS. The suggested replacement
is WS-SVC-CMM-6E1 or 2800/3800. My bet is by next year, that's CATOSish
6608 will be replaced by something else? If 2800 can do the job, I'm wondering
why Cisco will want to put a Cat6k and the more weirdo VG248 inside. :(
