I have always had separate windows opened for each device but I was about to switch to using Shift+Ctrl+x, 6, since all the bigwig gurus seem to be doing it that way..
but not after YOU've *highly* recommended NOT to do it =)
Moral of the story: 1) Not all gurus think on the same lines 2) Don't lose your own style coz you might yourself be a guru tommorow. And a little originality never hurts ;-)

You still CAN do it all in one window, but I would highly recommend NOT
