RE: single session or multiple session

There are many times this is true, but being able to quickly cycle from
window to window to do something like "do wr" to save your config is faster.
Or like you said when debugging. But if you get used to working in multiple
windows, it's an easier shift rather than the extra cycles along the way.

If you are close to your lab date, I would probably say its best to work
with what you already know. If you have time though, I'd start playing with
both and figure out what works best for you in the long run. Everyone's
brain works a little differently!

Can somebody give an insight?

From my perspective, I get lost easily if I have more than one window.
However, it is helpful in debugging. However, with logging buffered .. I can
manage to see log. Not as neat though.

I still find it as a personal preference and optimize my work based and
practice based on a particular method.

I can hardly see that I should be looking at 2 screen at any point of time.
Except for debugging.

Thoughts on scenario where one approach is recommended over the other are
highly appreciated.

Joseph.

You'll have a separate icon for each device on your desktop. Therefore,
you'll get a separate window for each device.

You still CAN do it all in one window, but I would highly recommend NOT
working that way!

What is best way to access lab equipment, terminal server and ctrl+shift+6 x
or multiple window sessions open on the desktop? Doing the labs these days I
spend a lot of time pressing ctrl+shift+6 x (wasted time).

Travis?
