For those of you who ordered the rpc-3 did you use an adapter to get it to
plug into a regular 20 amp receptacle wired for residential use?

X10 stuff works well for this - with a Harmony web control installed - a
nice cheap alternative :-)

Every once and a while, you'll find a really good deal on APC
MasterSwitches as well. But any of the remote power controllers give
you the same basic features!

other for sale site.
