If you have a local Graybar or Wesco, you can also purchase pre-made ones
about a foot long going between the 15A and 20A plug types. A bit more
expensive, but some people are just afraid of mucking with electricity! :)
Do be careful with this though, and make sure you are not doing TOO MANY!
Amperage ratings are designed for a reason, and it's not just to sell
strange plugs! CCIE is cool and all, but burning your house down in the
process will not make anyone happy!
Most routers though are very low draw. It's when you get to larger gear (or
too damned much of it) that you may have issues. Enough on that. :)

If you don't have an adapter you should be able to find the parts needed at
your local hardware store to make your own. The parts should cost under $25
total and only take a couple minutes to make.

For those of you who ordered the rpc-3 did you use an adapter to get it to
plug into a regular 20 amp receptacle wired for residential use?

X10 stuff works well for this - with a Harmony web control installed - a
nice cheap alternative :-)

Every once and a while, you'll find a really good deal on APC MasterSwitches
as well. But any of the remote power controllers give you the same basic
features!

Would suggest looking into Baytech RPC-2 or RPC-3 power unit on ebay or
other for sale site.
