First off, why do you think you need to have "frame interface-dlci" command on a physical interface? Secondly, I would check frame relay switch to ensure that it is configured correctly. Thx.

Subject: need help with Frame Relay PVC problem

Hi Group,

I see the following on my router:

R4(config-if)#do sh fram pvc | in DLCI

DLCI = 401, DLCI USAGE = UNUSED, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/0

DLCI = 402, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/0

DLCI = 403, DLCI USAGE = LOCAL, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/0

DLCI = 405, DLCI USAGE = UNUSED, PVC STATUS = ACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/0

DLCI = 413, DLCI USAGE = UNUSED, PVC STATUS = INACTIVE, INTERFACE =
Serial0/0

R4(config-if)#do sh run int s0/0

Building configuration...

Current configuration : 238 bytes

!

interface Serial0/0

 ip address 154.1.0.4 255.255.255.0

 encapsulation frame-relay

 no arp frame-relay

 frame-relay map ip 154.1.0.3 403

 frame-relay map ip 154.1.0.5 403

 frame-relay interface-dlci 403

 no frame-relay inverse-arp

end

R4(config-if)#

Is there any way I can find out why PVC 403 is inactive?

Thanks a lot
