Hello GS,

  i have this problem with my cat 3550 , anytime i rebooted the switch it gives this error , what is the solution please as my lab exam is very close and i need to work on the switch.

  00:00:18: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Vlan1, changed state to down
  !!! WARNING: The switch is not usable !!!
Reason:
Data bus test failed for CAM entry
SW2#

  I believe someone has this experianced this.
