Hello

I understand that the following command can be used to summarize EIGRP
routes.

interface xxx
ip summary-address eigrp [as-number] [ip address] [subnet mask] [admin
distance]

When do you need to set admin distance for summary-address? My understanding
is that admin distance is locally significant number and will not be
advertised to neighbors.

I cannot figure out why and when I need to set admin distance to summary
routes.

Can anyone please help?
