Leaving the administrative distance on the eigrp summary route will not hurt at 5. Also keep in mind that when you create this summary route an entry for the summary route is made in the routing table pointing towards the null interface.

it with default AD 5
Example:
R1 receive default route from OSPF (AD 110)
On R1 configured ip summary-address eigrp 110 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
Hence default route will be replaced to black hole.
