Interface Not in Protocol

What if a practice lab author forgets to take an interface and do anything
with it as far as a dynamic protocol goes. Most often - the overall lab
requirement is for full reachability of all of your networks in the diagram.
So - you quickly realize that you better do something with the interface!

After giving this a lot of thought - I have decided that when in doubt - the
best option would be to take this "forgotten" interface and enter it in a
protocol using redistribution. Specifically, do redistribution of connected
and reference a route-map if needed to limit the redistribution to the
single interface.

What does everyone else think about this approach? I think that applying a
new network statement in a routing protocol is just too dangerous of a
configuration from a grading perspective.
