Hi Group,
A have a scenario in which rip routes are redistributed into EIGRP.
There are 2 EIGRP routers sharing border with the OSPF domain. EIGRP and
OSPF are mutually redistributing routes.
R1---RIP-----R2 ----EIGRP-----R3-----OSPF ------R5
| |
------EIGRP-----R4-----OSPF-------R6
The RIP routes are installed on R3 and R4 with an admin distance of 170.
Upon redistribution the routes are received thru the OSPF domain as
external type 5 with an admin distance of 110 making it the preferred
path.
I wanted to know the solution to reduce the admin distance of EIGRP
redistributed routes on R3 and R4. Something similar to the "distance
100 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255" option under RIP.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Pankaj K
