Thanks...I was able to restrict OSPF routes from being installed into
the routing table. Incase of a link failure the packets traverse thru
the OSPF domain and get to the destination.

I think this should work. EIGRP external routes with admin distance 90
should be preferred over the OSPF external routes (110). Let me try this
option.

You can also try using "distance eigrp 90 90" under "router eigrp".
