Sorry this topic again.
From a discussion with a studygroup, there are different points of view if a interface connected to a Cisco IPPhone should be kept in switchport mode dynamic or switchport mode trunk.

One said if using switchport voice vlan vlan-id is is not necessary to trunk. I must confess I am lost after nothing getting a point from Wendell and Catalyst QoS about this.

I am aware voice is over on R&S.

Any post appreciated.
