  Hi,
     I am a CCIE student.I want to buy a catalyst 3550 switch to prepare
for my lab exam.I have heard that we need to practice on 3550 EMI switch .What
is the actual difference between EMI & SMI.When I contacted a cisco seller ,he
told me about a Catalyst 3550-24port SMI loaded with EMI ios.The ios loaded in
the switch is c3550-i5q3l2-mz.121-19.EA1c.bin .Will this will be useful for me
and will this do the same effect as a EMI switch.
