Thanx for your replies.
I have tried upgrading the bootflash also, but it still does not work. I
guess that RSP4/4+ has issues booting up with the flash disck card as RSP2
worked well.

Also with ATA cards you have to use disk1: as slot1: command works only with
linear flash cards.

This may be because the router doesn't know what a "disk" is when it boots
up. Consider upgrading the Bootflash with a newer version that understands
ata disks
