Do you think this is a bug or what. After completely erasing my configs and
power cycling my routers I start a new config.
When configuring ISIS it will not let me use any system ID other than the
one I had configured prior. Even when configuring a different area than was
before. My worry is if I do this in the lab and typo the system ID I cannot
change it.
This happens on 12.1 and 12.2 code
R6(config)#ri 56.0009
R6(config-router)#net 56.0009.6666.0000.0000.66
%CLNS: System ID (6666.0000.0000.00) must not change when defining
additional area addresses
R6(config-router)#net 56.0009.6666.0000.0000.00
R6(config-router)#
Any ideas?
