Dhcp smart-relay, irdp

HI All,

I am not able to understand the real functionality of the comand, ip dhcp
smart-relay, config command. Does this mean that if we configure two
gateways in the dhcp pool, the dhcp sends the second address in the dhcp
offer messages if the first one fails. Does this work online, like with
clients already configured with the gateway address?

Also does this have any similarity with the irdp, as irdp also enables
clients to dynamically get a gateway.
