However it becomes more confusing then.If the router configured also as a
dhcp server does not have any more ip addresses to offer, does it also
change the gateway address pointing to another router?
So then the other router takes over the new dhcprequest messages and assigns
a new gateway?
So am I right in assuming that dhcp-relay agent has nothing to do with
switching the gaetways, if one gateway fails?
It is just switching over the dhcp server after exhausting its address pool.
