Hi all:

One of my Cisco 2500s started having this problem after I was playing with
ip vrf on it.

I wouldn't think that has anything to do with it, but here is the error.

Local Timeout (control reg=0x118) Error, address: 0x2101884 at 0x1076504
PC)

and it constantly reboots. I've tried using o/r 0x41 and o/r 0x42 to no
avail. I did a search on groupstudy and the best I could find was somebody
recommending re-seating the memory/flash. I've done that. I've also
swapped out both memory and flash with known good ones and it still does
that. Am I screwed?

Would ordering the latest bootroms help? Actually i think the ones that
are in there are 11.0 c or something like that. I would swap bootroms out
but don't have the special bootrom removal tool and I already tried some
prying with a mini-screwdriver and that wasn't working. It's a 2520 that i
was using as my Frame Switch....(why couldn't it have been one of the 2501s
instead?)

thanks for any replies

Leo
