Hello Group,
I have been doing some ISDN labs, and I have just found out that the "dialer caller
<xxxx> callback" command (option 1) can be used to initiate an ISDN callback, and it
seems to work the same ways as the other commands (option 2). Is there any
particular situation where one would want to use one setup over the other?? If not,
I think it is much cooler to use one command "dialer caller <xxx> callback" than
using 6 commands ;-)
Any feedback are welcome.
1)
On PPP CallBack Server
dialer caller 1111 callback
On PPP CallBack Client
dialer caller 2222
OR
2)
On the Callback Server
dialer map ip 100.1.1.6 name RTB class ClassA broadcast 1111
dialer callback-secure
ppp callback accept
map-class dialer ClassA
dialer callback-server username
On the Callback Client
ppp callback request
Best Regards,
Hunt Lee
